There’s a super tutorial for February’s challenge at 2cre8art… very good photos, instructions and tips on how to create a fabric collage/quiltie. There’s also a lovely inage to download, if you wish. I finally had time to create my entry this evening – no paper, just loads of fabric and beads, plus a little recycled jewellery! All the fabric is recycled too.

This is quite a large piece for me… A4-ish or about 12″ x 9″ and the image is from a previous Art Creations Friday challenge. Printed her onto fabric with my inkjet printer and she’s so lovely, isn’t she? Luckily, I had coordinating scraps and beads in complimentary colours, which helped. The edges aren’t bound, they’re frayed (which I love!). Good old chenille from my mate Pat!!
I think she’s in the zone, smelling the flowers and I just saw that Crazy Amigos this week is about “Faces”, so I’m going to enter her into that challenge too!
