Sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? But, you see Created by Hand has challenged us to use inchies this week… and Fi at Inchy by Inch, has challenged us to use buildings for our inchies. See? So I have used Home Impressions Row Houses sheet and chosen the tall-ish skinny house, which fits onto 3 inchies!
The ATC [...]

My friend Fi has an Inchy challenge which I am guilty of forgetting to do, but I did tell her I’d join in this week, so as the theme was yellow and I had a scrap of yellow card, an appropriately sized rubon and a yellow wire-stemmed flower on my desk, I really had no [...]

Our inchies this week must include stripes for the Inchy by Inch challenge and here’s a little romantic inchy (similar to the photo ‘Giles’ carries in his breastpocket) that fits the bill!
Image from Crafty Individuals! – People & Places book. Thanks for these challenges Fi… if they weren’t so fiddly, I’d love to make a [...]

PTW this week asked for a Thank you card and I’ve used a painted paper towel, paint, washers, staples and fibres.
As I’ve used quite a lot of paint on this card, I think it’ll fit in with Saturday’s Workout too!
Fiona’s Inchy by Inch challenge this week is to make a Thank you Inchy because of [...]

Inspiration (from Laura Ashley) is the theme set by Inchy by Inch this week. I don’t like Laura Ashley stuff, never have! It’s all too floral, and ‘little cottagey’ for me, so I thought I’d struggle with this one, but freebie papers to the rescue *blows trumpet* doo-do-do-do!! I did doodle in black and white [...]

Challenge #5 at Inchy by Inch is Postage Art! There’s blog candy up for grabs too from Nina (Purple Faerie), who’s kindly offering inchies and an inchy stamp as a prize. I don’t own any inchy stamps, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!! Anyhoo, I managed another 5 of the little chaps after I made [...]

Created by Hand have asked us to make ‘Pins’ and Kelly has written a fab tutorial on how to make arty pins (I saw this in the previous newsletter, I think!). It’s easy to follow and I really enjoyed this one. I used a pretty lady in pink from Digital Collage Sheets, added the word [...]

Artygirlz have “recycled” as their theme this week (bit of a blessing for me, innit?!) and I have another 3 inchies to submit – surprise, surprise!
I’ve recycled postage stamps and old books, tomato puree tubes and an old greetings card to make these, girls!! It was rather an enjoyable exercise though *grins*…

I never thought I’d see the day that I would make an Inchy – let alone 7!! My friend (Magickdiva) runs an inchy challenge blog and I want to support her, but I have resisted the small squares until now. Fi’s blog was featured on PaperFriendly – which I subscribe to – so I went [...]
