I can’t believe the way the weather has changed over the last 5 years. It’s the end of the first week in April and look what it’s been like here this morning…. sunshine and snow showers on and off since I got up at 8am!
How crazy is that? Tomorrow, I think more of the same is forecast and my cyberbud Jan and her family are coming from Hampshire for breakfast and staying in Devon for a few days… maybe I should blame her!!
Another pal from Auntys has asked us all to sign the Cancer Drugs for All E-Petition on the 10 Downing Street website. From having signed a few of these in the past, I believe we need at least 300,000+ signatures for it to be tabled as a motion before the House of Commons… I could be wrong, but then what government isn’t a law unto themselves? I’m so glad their shockingly extravagant waste of public money – claiming expenses – has been highlighted in the Media… about time they were held “accountable”. I don’t think any of them tell the truth or live in the same world as we, the electorate.
Oops, got a bit political there, didn’t I? Oh well, it’s disgraceful, returning to the Meds for Cancer point, that we shouldn’t all receive these drugs, if needed, based on where in the UK we live. Let’s fight the NHS and the Government for the equal right to treatment that works – yeah! Please, if you’re a UK resident or an Ex-Pat, sign this petition and help to bring about much needed change.
You can find it HERE.
