Doodle House!

Lisa has challenged us to doodle our art this week at Step Outside Your Box Saturdays, which is really no hardship at all. I’ve seen Crissi and Hermine’s and they’re awesome. We had a small drama late yesterday evening – involving the child – and I needed a distraction to calm my nerves, so I did this (thank you Lisa, you helped me not to break anything other than my mood!).

She hears the Wolf call....

I managed to incorporate one of the clay discs I made using Third Coast RS artstamps in the Celtic series… I love the wolf howling at the full moon and of course, those wonderful, captivating, all-seeing eyes remind me of the Goddess within all of us… I like that a doodle can produce something like this. The two teardrops are a leftover from my teens when I used to draw an eye or a pair of eyes and doodle a whole scene inside a tear… but that was a long time ago!

Now, to combine a stencil, a doodle and a handcarved stamp…. hmmmm, I seem to be setting myself challenges! 😉
