Things With Wings

Sarah at Skinny Saturday has closed her challenge blog for now as she has new ventures to pursue – and we wish her great good luck. So, with her blessing and a lot of encouragement, Caroline (of Auntys Forum), has started up Sea Gal’s Skinnys – skinny challenges on a Friday!

Here’s my interpretation of “Things with Wings” – a skinny house!

Dragonfly

The script reads: “Dragonflies:Things with wings skinny” on the left and “Butterfly wings and zentangles” on the right. The house is 3″x5″ cut from mountboard (matboard), coloured with lightly sponged distress inks – fired brick over frayed burlap. The dragonfly is part of the Personal Impressions Garden set, which I love for the intense, detailed images.

I think my remaining 2 Row Houses for the swap are going to be stencilled and doodled… hope nobody minds! 😉
