Tag, You’re it #7

Weekend Taggers ask us to be ‘pretty and feminine’ this week, so I used another piece of brayered gesso resist packaging  (like the 4×4 background) to cut out a tag – more or less skinny size – and proceeded to embellish it.

Fluffy tag!

The plush flower and ribbon are Paper Pesto; the slide mount image is from Crafty Imdividuals (A4 sheet of transparencies for slide mounts); all the beads are RAKs from my mate Cath, who doesn’t like using beads! The fluffy fibres were attached with a staple, but I thought it was a bit ugly, so I covered it with tiny beads.

I really enjoyed making this one ladies – thank you! 🙂

  7. Wow, you covered a staple with tiny beads?? What an inspired idea!! The whole tag is so fresh and vibrant looking, great layered effect too!

As for what I do with my tags, well my mum usually gets most of them lol Or I use them on the front of cards or for presents or I offer them for swaps 🙂

Thanks so much for taking part again, great to see your work 🙂
