This Thursday, it’s all about…

I’m honoured to be This Thursday’s first Guest Designer today! Tracey, Fi and Susie have started their own challenge blog, all about creativity, for all genres of crafty people – anything goes! Their first theme is ‘Fresh’  – colours, fresh inks, feeling fresh…  using the “Rainforest” Queue of Coloubox Pigment Inks, kindly sent to me by Craft4Creation. I love the shades of greens I was sent and used them on these 3 cards, inking the edges of the Fan card’s scraped paint background in the first example:

Here I have used 3 toning inks to edge the small images and around the entire arch to compliment the watercolour background, which is mainly blue and green.

On this one, I have used photopaper/glossy cardstock for the arch and smooshed each of the inks onto it to create a blended background for the bamboo and images:

I’d like to wish This Thursday huge success and shall be eagerly looking forward to each new challenge this creative trio come up with! I just popped over to see if they were ‘live’ and I had forgotten all about this Circus Tag… using my Diva Impressions stamp.
