Summer respite!

Layers of Color’s theme this week is “summer respite” and I took the opportunity to use one of the gorgeous fabric transfers I received from Annette in Oz. Look at this lovely Bathing Beauty, isn’t she a stunner?!

The beads are threaded onto fine wire (thanks Ali!) – some are from “You can craft” mag and the long blue shells are from a necklace DD gave me to recycle! Gotta love DD, haven’t you?!! 😉

  4. What a terrific transfer! I really respect people who can get them to turn out right! Mine almost never do, so I’ve given up on them. Love the papers and the necklace, also! It’s great to have a daughter that gives you things to re-cycle! Mine’s pretty generous that way, too! We share the stash!

I wasn’t keeping secrets from you! I’d had it in the back of my mind for a while and worked on it just for fun, not making it public. Then yesterday I thought why not? It was just a spur of the moment thing. Next time I’ll e-mail you first lol! But truly, I wouldn’t keep a secret from you…I share secrets with you! . . .and, Andrew will be thrilled! I’ll keep that a secret from him, though…..you’re wonderful!
