Lisa – Step Outside Your Box Saturdays – has a ‘No Flourish’ rule normally, but this week she says:
“there’s got to be something else we can do with these beauties! What can you turn a flourish into? Do you have one that when you turn it a certain way it looks like a face, or a duck, or a car? Lets step Outside The Box with flourishes this week and see them for something we don’t usually. ”
Here’s my entry, Lisa!
The flourish (hair) stamp and background paper is by Crafty Individuals; Birdie stamp is my own handcarved stamp! Lucille Ball Photostamp was an Ebay bargain. SOH – also mine!! *grins*
I’ll have an announcement to make soon too! But I’m not sharing today… gotta go to work instead! 😉

/ July 8, 2008I love this , Rosie! That flourish stamp is one of the nicest I’ve seen. This piece is both humorous and beautiful, like Lucy herself! And I LOVE the way you used muted color, except for that burst of hair! This is so much fun!! (love the birdies tweeting for help!)

/ July 9, 2008I really like what you did with the flourishes! And Lucille Ball is fabulous! I did some flourishes of my own but for some reason they won’t post on the Ste Outside Your Box website. Take a look if you’d like!
