Saturday’s Workout!

Well, it’s already been quite a workout for me – at work this morning… then coming home to relax for a while and have a play. Luckily, I’d left my sewing machine out and used it on this pair of ATCs for Saturday’s Workout challenge… “Grungy”. Not hard for someone who’s naturally a messy creator (in every sense of the word!!)

Stamp: Home Impressions Victorian Plate; background papers – Dovecraft Fantasy range (I’m trying hard to use them up, aren’t I?!!); Stamped image with black soot distress onto glossy photo paper which I smooshed over some frayed burlap and walnut gold glimmer stuff! The paper lace flower strip is from my friend Cat (thanks mate!). This also fits in with Laura’s Layers of Color theme this week, as does the front of the latest Arty-Farty Birdie Bag I’m making!

Plus, I used Layers of Color’s border stamp to frame the image!! It’s such a pretty stamp, isn’t it?
