Journey to the past!

Numbers are required in this week’s Mixed Media Monday challenge so here’s a Halloween collage I made earlier this evening whilst waiting for the power to go out again! I couldn’t settle, because we had reduced power, no power, full power, power in some parts of the house and then it was fixed, and that all happened within the space of an hour! Some houses in and around the village had no power at all…

So if this appears spooky, well it’s supposed to! I used images and text from Collage Visions and played around with the words!! Stamps are from Cherry Pie and Tandastamps. Nasty faces and doodles are by me!! DH looked at it and immediately said the face at the window reminded him of the Grinch! I suppose that could be taken as a measure of my success – a grumpy collage! LOL!

I’m going to make this my Wednesday Stamper entry too, as I have used the keyhole (cut it out myself!) to highlight one of the weird women!

Here’s one wet doggy… poor Millie, trying to avoid the rain, which has been a constant companion again today. I was talking to someone today who imformed me that since the start of the school holidays down here in the Devon, we’ve had 5 days of sunshine – since the last week of July. Isn’t that just too depressing? 😦

  9. Your spooky piece is amazing! I love all the dark and mysterious details, and those leaping brownies are adorable!

Rosie, I LOVE little Millie with that cute little pink tongue hanging out! Poor little wet doggie! Ours won’t get his feet wet. He circles under the overhang of the roof when it’s raining to avoid the drops! Sounds like you’ve had more than you’re share of drops…and once again, our fates collide! We’re in the midst of a power crisis here that I’ll share in an email…and bouts of rain as well!
