They’re back!

Sandy and Heike (TGIF) are back in the saddle and this week’s theme, chosen by GD Barbara (Sun Catcher), is ‘Women‘. Great theme. I have two pieces which are very apt for this challenge. I completed another textured collage piece for the Show yesterday. I was waiting for some Gel medium and paints to arrive because this one’s a bit different. It’s an altered frame and a collage. I wanted to do a brown and copper piece – using some collage images too. I placed these in the four corners, adhered to those horrid little black dominos. The elements I’ve incorporated into the piece are quite feminine too, which is great. The photo really doesn’t do justice to the wonderful tones of brown and copper in this piece, but here goes anyway!

And this is a Renaissance lady pendant on a bamboo domino. The beads complement the image rather nicely don’t they?

Thanks for looking!!
