A fond farewell…

A fond Farewell to Laura’s Layers of Color challenges as this is the last of them this week. I determined to make this page in my art journal to remember her always. Her art speaks for itself and is equalled by her generous and lovely spirit. Her artstamps are simply gorgeous and I am proud to own mine! I still have (intact), the envelope they arrived in…

Beacuse I have used 3 small acetates to enhance the page and sections of it, I am also entering this into the SaWo challenge. Stamps: Personal Impressions Travel set, acetates – Crafty Individuals.

And here, better late than never, is my Sunday Share Freebie! Enjoy!

I have no idea what her real name is, but I have called her “Agnes”… 🙂

  4. Rosie, you have honored me with love and I’m so touched. I adore the layers of color on your page and it’s warm, sunny disposition! Thank you dear!

My art stamp business is the result of following my star and it’s just beginning to shine! I’m feeling so happy about working on my dream, regardless of how it turns out, I’ve done it! However, God seems to be favoring my direction and so I’m excited about the plans and work before me!

We have ten new sets coming out by the end of the month! That more than doubles what we’ve started with! I’ve designed more art stamps for mixed-media artists and I’m introducing stamps perfect for card making, too!

I’ll see you around as I love to enter Wednesday Stamper, Gothic Arches, and Dan Ma Maison Il y. We still have so much artful adventures ahead of us! I look forward to it all!

    Big Hugs, Laura

  8. This just may be my favorite page! How happy! It’s like a Parisian vacation in the spring!

As for your Sunday freebie, she looks a little too kind to be an Agnes to me. Unfortunatley for all the wonderful Agneses out there, the only one of my mother’s friends that I *hated* was named Agnes—-we renamed her Ag-nasty. I was little, and she was bossy and controlling which didn’t sit well with my free-spirit! Fortunately she visited rarely, and my mother was wonderful and would put her in her place!

I am going to take you up on your suggestion and post pics from the workshop later today or early tomorrow, so stay tuned!
