Open theme!

I’ve been making pendants, keyrings, bag charms, etc. in earnest for the last few weeks – particularly having fun experimenting with trionimos. Here are a few zodiac keyrings and an altered trionimo pendant. As the Wednesday Stamper theme is open this week, these will be my entry…

The stamps are zodiac inchy stamps from Tandastamps – mine, DH’s and DD’s. They fit nicely onto the trionimos, stamped with black stazon and coloured with Whispers inkpads (dtp method), and chalk inks. This pendant was stamped with one of the ladies from Cherry Pie, coloured and glazed.

It hangs beautifully and the two trionimos meet perfectly to match the two halves of the image. I used recycled leather thonging from a belt for the ‘cord’.

On a personal note, don’t mind me! I’ve been working at market all day, it’s freezing cold and windy here and to cap it all, I had a tooth pulled this afternoon, in my lunch break. It was such a shock to the system, I went home! Today… I feel my age!!

Never mind – tomorrow is another day, as Scarlett O’Hara would say!

  10. Ohhh, poor you! I hope you’re feeling better! No one needs a day like that. But, you have made some gorgeous pieces!! I love your zodiacs! The colors are beautiful and vibrant! Do you have to seal them afterward or are they good to go when you’ve finished them? They are wonderful, and the pendant is wonderful! The top right looks like a sprinkling of orange caviar — flying fish eggs! Beautiful stuff, Rosie!!
