Sandy asked for artwork themed to winter time for TGIF on Friday last. Tonight while I was pondering it, I realised I had an unfinished altered tin that I could use for this. I think I made the mistake of doing too many tins in one go last year and this little one fell by the wayside, but now it’s looking much happier…
Browsing the Go Make Something blog by Lisa Vollrath, I found some useful information about the differences between shrines, books and fills. Although the article in question relates to matchboxes, I applied the principles to this tin. So here’s a winter time shrine – in a tin.
I left the front unchanged as I like it, but here’s the inside:
I think it’ll make a pretty little gift for someone, won’t it? I am pleased to have finished that off and with the result. I hate starting projects and not finishing them. A new week awaits – I do hope it’s a bit warmer then this one has been.
