Smiley People

Weekend Taggers (Tag, you’re it!), want you to follow a recipe today: 1 ribbon; 2 buttons & 3 brads/eyelets… and TGIF is asking you to “keep smiling”, so I’ve made a long tag with Ria’s Funny People to use as a bookmark… Both challenge blogs have great examples too!

I made the buttons with chipboard discs covered with alcohol ink and the background was given a ‘dry brushing’ with a thin coat of gesso – although I did use a baby wipe to reveal the text. I dabbed the remaining AI round the edges to use it up and then used my gold Krylon style pen to outline it.

I covered the whole thing with book film and then added the ribbon with a green snap thingy! (Technical, aren’t I?!!)

Got a bit more decluttering done today plus the dreaded accounts (set 1) and we’re off out tomorrow for lunch in Bude – gotta make the most of this fine weather because rain is forecast for early next week. =/

  1. Rosie, you never cease to amaze me with your creativity! I love your long tag and am most impressed with the buttons, which really aren’t, but sure do look like it. And your cute little characters have such engaging smiles.
