Gothic Arches this week – Garden Sprite is the theme picked by Karen. See her beautiful arch HERE, aswell as the others! Mine was inspired by a 2007 Fairy Calendar I kept. I used parts of one of the large images, gesso’d over it and altered the landscape. I worked the colours with my Neos and my mushrooms are definitely a bit magickal – popular at Festivals, I should think!!
I know the colours are very vivid, but I like their bold tones and the Neos are really flexible to work with. Only thing is, I couldn’t write on them… so I shall remember that next time!
That was a really fun theme this week… and now I must go get ready for work! If the weather stays as lovely as it has been this weekend, we’ll be gardening tomorrow – or exploring and clearing more of our ‘jungle’!!
