Number 9!

Or “Love Potion No.9”, the song by The Clovers, was my choice of inspiration for Sunday Postcard Art’s “Numbers” theme this week. I used an image from The Little Blue Things HERE. The stamps are from Robin at MaVinci’s – I get all my weird arty stamps and arty sayings from her – great value for money and they work – what more can one ask?!

I used the new technique from Tim Holtz on his blog – though you can’t see it in theis photo. In RL, there’s a sweet shimmer to the stamped images. I think there’s a definite influence of grunge creeping from my online painting into this postcard collage… I am distinctly grubbier today!! The outer edges in blue and red are created with Neocolours II – another recent purchase for the online class. The best bit is that I have used and enjoyed using, everything I bought so far… that’s gotta be a bonus hasn’t it?! 🙂
