I have wanted to make a small canvas for the “Wealth Corner” in our new home for some time and today’s challenge at Created by Hand – Oriental – was the perfect creative shove for me to get painting!
Here is my red and gold 5″ x 7″ money canvas… hope it works as an attractant!
I have painted on top of joss papers, chinese text, etc. and scratched symbols into the layers of paint. The papers were all supplied by Ten Two Studios (not that they’re that recognisable!!)

Meanwhile, I have also been busy creating more altered cutlery for the Seventh Wave Gallery in Bude… woohoo! 🙂
