Mary, Mary, quite contrary…

Nursery Rhymes is the theme at Sunday Postcard Art this week and I got this weird idea about how to interpret it quite unexpectedly whilst looking through my stash of images… for something completely different!

You know how you quite often use a few small images for bamboo tiles – for bracelets, pins, pendants, etc. and have odd ones left over? Well I had some left that fit this theme quite well – maybe not in the conventional sense, but then that’s not me anyway, is it? Lol! These are all from the Dainty Dominos sheet at Ten Two Studios. And “Mary” is a Microscope Slide image from the new-ish Baroque Beauties sheet.

I omitted the silver bells and cockle shells because I didn’t have any!! This was fun to do… and tomorrow I’m Guesting at Mixed Media Monday – with “Greens and Blues”, so I shall prepare that post now too. Diane’s always so far ahead of me because of the different time zones, but I look forward to seeing what everyone creates with that palette. Toodles!

  2. Great use of the wee tiny images, Rosie. Beautiful card, but after my earlier history lesson on Mary Mary I have a different opinion of the rhyme!!
I’m off to post my MMM. Mine’s been ready since last week, when I mistakenly thought the topic was green & brown!!

  6. Your unique and quirky perspective is EXACTLY what sets your work apart and makes it so amazing, Rosie. Would you please e-mail me your mailing address? I have a postcard that I made for you (months ago) that I mislaced and recently found, and I’d love to send it to you.
