Created by Hand this week… Things that Fly. And, first time for me… Crazy Amigos – Insects!
I created both these ATCs at the same time – smooshed paint backgrounds, doodling and stamped images on sticky-backed acetate, adhered to sparkly net. The scans don’t really do them justice, but hey-ho!

/ February 23, 2010Both the butterfly pieces are gorgeous. The backgrounds look pretty difficult to me, but then I don’t exactly know what a smooshed background is. I’m going to look at the stores around here to see if they carry acetate. That makes for a beautiful piece. And I do love the doodling in white pen.

I love how you did the background on them.

/ March 1, 2010I love your cards and what a fabulous way to use acetate. It really gives the butterfly a delicate wispy look. I will have to give that a try 🙂
