TMTA – Bud, flowering

TMTA this week – And what better background to use for an ATC than Trish Bee’s Faux Grass? I learned so many techniques from Trish Bayley and we were always swapping stuff on the Next Generation Stampers Yahoo Group… so, I still have bits of cardstock with strange and mysterious backgrounds which make fab ATCs – like this one…

"pushing up from the ground"

We made the faux grass background with PVA (white) glue and mixed herbs, painted with greens, enhanced with wax rub-on gold, bronze and a little silver… a long time ago and I think this is the last bit of a full sheet of A4 cs!

The stems are leftover threads from yesterday’s frayings; the little white flowers are from a bunch of fake Baby’s Breath; the words are cut from 2 random sheets still on my table and the stitching was fun!

I have 4 little domino houses drying and awaiting embellishment with rhinestones. Not sure yet whether they’ll become pendants/necklaces – they look very much like large arrows too!! I have mini message bottles on the go too and ruffle-flower pins, some cards… I’m beginning to feel like a factory!
