Mandy & Donna start us off this new year with “Celestial” as the theme. Well, for me, my recently-finished canvas of the Angel was my inspiration and naturally, if I can use my own artwork to create new artwork, why not? So here’s my entry.

I have to thank my DH, Nick, for helping me to cut and ‘clean’ the original image quickly and easily. Who says you can’t teach an old new tricks? Lol! If you’re following the AJED trail, I’ll be posting my latest sketching this afternoon!! 😉

Thanks for the enquiry about the floods. Australia is a land of droughts and floods. While I am glad not to be flooded out I would give anything for a few drops of rain and some clouds in the sky. Here in Perth on the south-west coast we have had the driest year on record.
