For A year in the life of an art journal

THE PROMPT: Look at Me NOW!
THE SONG: FUCK YOU by Cee Lo Green
CLEAN version :”Forget you”.
Written Lyrics HERE
PRODUCT/TECHNIQUE: Birds/Feathers

So I was lucky enough to find this wonderful magazine advertising image in my stash and rearranged the letters slightly to form the song title! My journalling is personal too, but deals with all those “doubters” who ‘knocked’ me for leaving school at 16 and not going onto University, etc.

I think even back then, I knew I wasn’t going to live a “conventional” life!! I wonder how many of them are really “happy”???

Rosie, you are a dear. I left school too. inspite of always having thought I would go on. I will admit to having thought at times I wish I had persued some of the dreams. But the best dream has been realized.
My family is so important to me. Kids, grandkids and great grandkids. It has been quite a ride. almost like
going to a carnaval, you get spun around, pulled upwards and dropped down. But you smile.
I love your comments and art.

  3. LOL!

This is great. I adore the way you used the Hello Kitty buttons in place of the ‘U’ the barbed wire in contrast to the delicate little border at the bottom! The look on her face and the birds looking back!

    I totally love this!!!
