Cat-House!!

Dans ma maison, il y a… un chat – a cat!! I love cats and immediately decided to make a House with a cat (or three!) I managed to incorporate my fave techniques (Saturday’s Workout) and used a lot of scraps that were on my desk too! (Step outside your box Saturday). The only thing I had to hunt for was the cat! I raided DD’s stash of cute kitty greeting cards (don’t tell her?) and cut one up quite brutally!! Here’s my cat-house, in the nicest possible way, with lots of paint, gel medioum, stamping and text!

Underneath all that paint and stuff is a scraped paint background!! You’d never guess would you?!

  6. What a DARLING face! and the two cats on either side are very reminicent of my “markie”, a devon rex that graced our home for a short period of time. You’ve given me the inspiration here. If I find the time (I hope, I hope), I will use one of his photos to make my house!! As always, I love your creative mix of materials and techniques!! Bravo!
